A web server is where you will host (store) your website. Web servers are constantly connected to the internet (unlike personal computers which disconnect from the internet when not collecting or downloading information). These computers allocate space to you once your website hosting account has been set up.
Your website, once designed, is then placed onto your website hosting space, and away you go
