Holistic Hosting is an Australian website & email hosting company for the healing and creative arts.

What is Website Hosting?

"Website hosting" is the term used to indicate the space on a web-server where your website resides. If you have a website, you need web hosting space. Holistic Hosting is an Australian company and all of our staff and hardware are within Australia.

How long does it take to setup an account?

All our hosting account applicaitons are processed as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours during normal business hours. You will be notified of your successful application and instructions will be provided for how to use your account.

If you chose to pay by cheque or money order, allow 2-3 working days for us to process your payment.

Why do I need Hosting space?

To run a website you need to have "space" on a web server. Your web address (domain name)is the place where your visitors go to see your information (virtual real estate).

If you already have a website, you are paying a yearly fee to host your website on a website server. This is similar to paying rates for 'land' upon which you build your house.

What payment methods do you accept?

Holistic Hosting accepts Visa, Mastercard or a Cheque/Money Order or Direct Deposit for domain name orders. Cheques should be made out to Holistic Hosting and sent to:

Is GST (Goods and Sales Tax) included in your pricing pages?

No, Holistic Hosting is committed to personal service, and thus only takes a certain number of clients each month to ensure reliability and quality support. We may be GST registered next year, in which case we will include it within your renewal price.

Why are your prices so cheap?

We are able to offer quality hosting at a competitive price because Holistic Hosting has purchased web space in bulk, thus allowing us to pass the savings on to our holistic customers. We are committed to providing fully-featured website hosting systems to people in the Healing and Creative Arts fields, and are glad to have found a way that works for everyone.

Are all your servers really located in Australia?

All of our servers are located in Sydney, Australia and are owned and managed in house.
Sys-admin and developer teams are responsible for the design, maintenance and 24x7 monitoring of all systems and services. We currently experience above 99.5% uptime, guaranteed.

What happens if I go over my 30mb (or 50mb) limit?

We have a no hidden fee policy and we won’t charge or fine you for any over usage of your account. If our system detects that you are getting close to your limits, reminders will be sent to you automatically by email. You will have up to 5 days to remove excess files before a second reminder is sent.

Can I upgrade my web hosting plan? Does any cost apply?

You can upgrade to a more powerful hosting plan anytime at no extra cost.
Just email sales@holistichosting.com.au and let us know which plan you wish to switch to. You won’t lose any of your existing credit: any unused amount of time paid for will automatically be credited and go towards your new hosting plan.

Do I need a domain name to purchase a hosting plan?

Yes. You need a domain name in order for your hosting account to be set up.
If you already have registered your domain name, go through sign-up and enter your existing domain name…. If you don’t have a domain name (or wish to register an extra domain), you can buy one with us at the same time you purchase your hosting and will enjoy a discount on your hosting plan.

Holistic Hosting hosts over 180 clients in Australia since our beginning in 2003. Holistic Hosting is a certified reseller if web hosting and domain names through Enetica (the first fully accredited .au name registrar.) Enetica is now ICANN, auDA and .nz accredited and has over 600 partners alone 90,000 domain registrations.
